Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing, the fourth school established in China by Wycombe Abbey Schools International, is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing, about 20 kilometers east of the city, next to the well-known Tangshan Resort. The total area of the school is 20 acres with a building area of 112,250 square meters. The school can provide premium education for 2,088 boys and girls from kindergarten to Year 13, including 360 pupils in the kindergarten. Class sizes are small, with no more than 24 students in each class above the kindergarten and no more than 20 pupils in each kindergarten class, so that each child can enjoy plenty of personal attention from the teachers.

Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing aims to develop pupils who are firmly rooted in Chinese culture but who can also adopt good learning practices from all around the world. When we first started designing the school, we embedded the concept of holistic education into every aspect of the campus to ensure that we had all the outstanding facilities we wanted for our students. We not only nurture our pupils' academic abilities but also their moral qualities, artistic accomplishments and sporting potential, helping them become outstanding global citizens.

As a state-of-the-art campus, Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing is equipped with advanced classrooms and labs, a STEM centre and two ultra-modern libraries. The school also has a high-quality professional theater with the capacity to seat 600 people, a dedicated Chinese Cultural Centre, an early years' education centre, and separate upper and lower school boarding houses. The campus sports centre has two indoor gymnasiums, a 25-metre competition-standard swimming pool and an outdoor stadium. Wycombe Abbey's holistic approach to education is therefore in evidence everywhere around the school. At the same time, the school takes the heritage of Chinese culture very seriously; the "spiritual fortress" bell tower in the centre of the campus is complemented by the Chinese Cultural Centre, thereby expressing the perfect integration of traditional school design and modern Chinese culture.

Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing has been conceived as a model of high-end, innovative private education, catering to children living in the Yangtze River Delta as well as elsewhere in China and overseas. The school is dedicated to serving Chinese and international families who require premium private education in Nanjing and its surrounding areas and to promoting a diversified, integrated and innovative style of education. As an active response to the growth and development strategy for eastern Nanjing proposed by the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Government, the school has been built in the Tangshan Area of Jiangning according to the very highest urban planning standards and construction requirements.

Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing, a co-educational day and boarding school, offers internationalised education for Chinese and international students aged from 3 to 18, with a British boarding option for children over 6 years old. The current campus construction is progressing smoothly according to plan and the school buildings are expected to be delivered on time for use in the first half of 2021.
